Jubilee Symphony Orchestra New York Rounds Up Auditions, Plans Upcoming Concert Dates

Jubilee Symphony Orchestra New York (JSO NY) recently wrapped up its in-person and online auditions, held between January and March, in preparation of the 2015 season. JSO staff has also conducted several meetings with Maestro Glen Cortese and discussed dates for the 2015 season's concerts and direction.

Starting with the season's opening in May, the fellowship plans to have its second concert in July, at the Jubilee World anniversary. JSO NY staff currently has two meetings per week preparing for the first concert.

A staff member shared, "I can feel that everything is a learning process as we prepare for concerts. We pray to God for every step as we prepare the concert. Through this, we wish to give glory to God and we pray that it would be a time to grant a peaceful heart and healing to many people who are in hectic everyday life."

The fellowship plans to have continuous meetings with Cortese to discuss the program and update the concert information.

JSO NY asks for prayers that the Christian classical musicians may see their talents used to communicate the love of God, and have the upcoming concert be a beautiful concert where they can express the heart of God and perform with one heart.

The fellowship also asks for prayers for staff, conductor, and musicians so that everyone involved may experience the grace of God through the process leading up to the concert. Lastly, Jubilee Orchestra request prayers that many souls may attend the concerts and have rest in their hearts.
