Jubilee Music & Performing Arts Fellowship

Jubilee is a fellowship comprised of a globally diverse and eclectic body of musicians, dancers, actors, and members purposed to glorify God through the sacrifices of praise and worship.

Jubilee utilizes song, dance, and all other forms of expression found within the performing arts and media to sound one loud and unified spiritual trumpet call, proclaiming to all peoples the message of hope, healing and spiritual freedom as found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Through this Gospel, Jubilee wishes to bring truth and life back into today's entertainment industry and culture, transforming them into mediums to be used for God's will and purposes.

Leadership

Billy Smiley

Director of Music and Arts

Beginning his career as a performer, songwriter, and producer for Bill Gaither and the Benson Company, Billy produced the 1st 4 Gaither Vocal band albums selling more than 1.5 million units. Out of his relationships there he formed the Grammy-nominated Rock Group WhiteHeart with producer/guitar player Dann Huff (Rascal Flatts, Faith Hill, Keith Urban). White Heart was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame in 2010. Billy co-wrote and produced most of the songs and albums from their catalog, and White Heart went on to tour worldwide over the next 17 years, selling over 3 million records, with 17 #1 Singles, 2 Grammy nominations, and 23 Dove nominations.

Now having produced and written for over 200 records and 30 #1 songs, Billy has 5 Grammy Nominations, including the 1989 Grammy-nominated song "Silent Night", as recorded by BeBe & CeCe Winans. As a songwriter, Billy wrote for Provident/Brentwood/Benson Publishing, Capital Music/Sparrow Records, Word Publishing, Curb Records, and Sony/BMG. He discovered, developed, produced, and wrote for such artists as: White Heart, Petra, Johnny Cash, Steven Curtis Chapman, Margaret Becker, The Union of Sinners and Saints, The Newsboys, Jean Watson, Susan Ashton, Clay Aikens, Justified, Elizabeth South, The Normals, and Charity Von.

Dan Presgrave

Orchestra Director

Dan Presgrave graduated cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Theory, and received his Master of Music degree and completed course work for a Ph.D. in conducting and performance practice at Washington University in St. Louis. Mr. Presgrave served for four years as solo trumpet player with the Air Force Band of Mid-America. As an active performer in the St. Louis area, he held the principal trumpet position with Saint Louis Philharmonic Orchestra for nine years, and performed with the Galant Ensemble, the orchestra for Opera Theater of Saint Louis, the Philharmonic Brass Quintet and the Metropolitan Orchestra of Saint Louis.

In 1972, Mr. Presgrave joined the music faculty of Washington University where, in addition to teaching instrumental conducting, he was the music director/conductor for the Washington University Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble. In 2010 he was appointed interim Orchestra Director at University of Missouri-St. Louis. In 2023 he was appointed as the orchestra director of Jubilee World.

Philip Woodmore

Chorus Director

Philip received his BS/BA in Business Marketing and Music Vocal Performance from Saint Louis University in 2005 and Masters in Music Education from Webster University in 2010. In May 2020, Dr. Woodmore graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with his doctorate in music education. Philip's research interests are in the changing voice and the middle school singing experience and also transformation in the arts. Philip's dissertation title is Antigone in Ferguson: The experience of seven members of the democratic chorus in a social justice musical production. In September 2018 Philip was published in the Missouri School Music Magazine with an article about keeping our young men in choral programs through their voice change.

Philip is the founder of the Marquette High School Gospel Choir, and was the president and director of the Saint Louis University Gospel Choir for five years. Woodmore joined the Muny family for the 2020 summer season as the Music Director for Muny Kids. In 2023, Philip was appointed as the chorus director of Jubilee World.

Dorothy Li

General Secretary

Dorothy Li is a dedicated pianist, music therapist, and worship leader with a passion for developing musicians and fostering meaningful, worshipful lifestyles as beautiful offerings to the Lord. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Performance and a Master of Arts in Music Therapy from New York University, specializing in working with children and adolescents with special needs.

Her journey with Jubilee World began in New York, where she managed the Jubilee Chorus and Jubilee Orchestra from 2016-2018. In early 2019, she relocated to Jubilee World's headquarters in St. Louis and took on the position of General Secretary, focusing on recruiting and training young musicians in music expertise and worship leadership while collaborating with directors and professionals nationwide. In 2025, she transitioned to Nashville, TN, to further develop Jubilee World's presence in the music industry, with a primary focus on the growth and professional development of Jubilee World YouTube channel and JubileeCast.

Aaron Reppert

President

Aaron Reppert is an award-winning audio engineer and an industry veteran of 20 plus years. He is currently the president of Jubilee World, a performing arts organization focusing on music education and media. Aaron was a consultant for schools and youth centers where he designed and built recording studios for community programs. Beginning 2004 to present, Aaron has been interacting with youth and young professionals through music mentoring and audio production courses. Recently, Aaron has produced for leading industry companies for motion pictures and artists, in addition being a studio mentor for universities. When Aaron was appointed to Executive Director of Jubilee World in 2016, he expanded his expertise and influence in a global scale. He constructed the Jubilee Studios in Nashville and St. Louis, and to this day offers consultation in audio production, acoustic setup, and music publication and licensing to music ministries and churches worldwide.

Mission Statement

Jubilee is a performing arts and media ministry purposed to glorify God by leading the nations into united worship of Him. Through humble, passionate, and skillful offerings of praise and worship, Jubilee wishes to proclaim to all peoples a message of hope, healing and spiritual freedom as found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to empower God's people with the truth and joy of salvation for the transformation of culture and society into one that is centered on Jesus Christ.

Our History

Established in Los Angeles, CA, in 2002 as "Jubilee Mission" the ministry began with a vision to raise musicians on the foundation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, to provide a platform for musicians to use their talents for God, and to strengthen church worship. With greater inspiration to increase the presence and quality of Gospel music on college campuses and local communities, Jubilee Mission formed a non-denominational fellowship to collaborate with local Christian musicians. Through partnerships with local fellowships and Christian organizations, the ministry began its growth, gradually extending its influence into other fields of the performing arts, as well as media and education.

Jubilee Mission moved its headquarters to San Francisco in the year 2003, then to New York City in 2006. Through many collaborative events and projects worldwide, Jubilee Mission aims to cover the earth with praises as the water covers the sea. One significant collaborative project that Jubilee Mission organized in New York City brought together local musicians and college Gospel choirs from NYU, Fordham, Nyack and Pace for a concert at the historical Apollo theater.

In 2007, Jubilee Mission was rebranded to Jubilee World to represent the organization's diverse work in the music, entertainment and performing arts field, and formed a Senior Advisory Board to help broaden and strengthen the ministry's goals and strategies. As Jubilee World continued to expand into more cities, the organization began to hold its own General Assembly on its anniversary date (July 10th) every year to gather its members together for further networking, training, and conferencing.

In 2012, the Jubilee World headquarters moved to Nashville and acquired a beautiful facility. In 2015, Jubilee World established its current 165,000 square foot headquarters in Saint Louis and acquired the 1,700-seat Orpheum Theater in the same city one year later. After 15 years of ministry, Jubilee World looks ahead to growing many more Christian artists called to transform their culture into one that is Christ-centered and pure.

Ministries of Jubilee World include Jubilee Worship & Jubilee Dance (est. 2002), BREATHEcast (est. 2004), Jubilee Academy (est. 2007) the Jubilee Chorus and the Jubilee Symphony Orchestra (est. 2007), Jubilee Song (est. 2010), Jubilee Kids School (est. 2011), The Jubilee School (est. 2013), and Jubilee Studio Fellowship (est. 2017).

Statement of Faith

We Believe that the Bible, consisting of Old and New Testaments only, is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, is inerrant in the original manuscripts, and is the infallible and authoritative words from the Lord. We Believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We Believe that Adam, created in the image of God, was tempted by Satan, the devil, and fell. Because of Adam's sin, all men have guilt imputed. We Believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory. We Believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. We Believe that salvation consists in the remission of sins, the imputation of Christ's righteousness, and the gift of eternal life received by faith alone, apart from works. We Believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We Believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We Believe that the Church, the body of Christ, consists only of those who are born again, who are baptized by the Holy Spirit into Christ at the time of regeneration, for whom He now makes intercession in heaven and for whom He will come again. We Believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. We Believe that Christ instructed the Church to go into the entire world and preach the gospel to every person, baptizing and teaching those who believe. We Believe that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent, and that it will be visible and personal.
