The Jubilee Chorus NYC Begins Rehearsals

Jun 07, 2008

After many months of planning and auditions, the Jubilee Chorus has begun rehearsals in the great city of New York, going towards their first performance on July 10th in Manhattan's Calvary Church. The program at Calvary will include pieces such as Mozart's "Laudate Dominum", Handel's "Let Their Celestial Concerts All Unite," and Craig Courtney's "Psalm 91."

"I was looking in all the churches in New York for a good opportunity to praise God with classical music, but I couldn't find it anywhere," shared Jubilee Chorus member Bryce Petty after his audition. "And when I received the invitation to the Jubilee Chorus, I felt that this is the perfect chance, which God prepared for me. That's why I ran here today."

If you would like to invite the Jubilee Chorus to sing at your church or venue, please e-mail or call at newyork@jubileemissions.org or (212)602-9903.
