Jubilee staff plans to hold the first praise night in one of New York’s theaters since the theater’s setting is very appealing to musicians to perform in more of a concert setting rather than traditional church setting.
From the audience’s viewpoint, theater setting may open the door for the wider audience to enter following example of already established worship teams in the U.S. such as Passion, Hillsong, Jesus Culture, who attracted young generation and made powerful movements.
Brian, of Jubilee New York explains a vision behind the planned worship night, “Jubilee hopes to start big worship movement in NYC by holding monthly worship nights, and then expand them to weekly praise events later on. Through worship nights we want to appeal to younger generation.”
More plans in other areas of music art are currently being laid by the ministry.
