Members of the worship team at Jubilee Church in Nashville, Tenn., are planning to volunteer by performing at an upcoming fundraising festival at a local school, hoping to serve the community in a meaningful way.

Charlotte Park Elementary School, which is located near the Nashville West Shopping Center, is hosting a big school festival on Saturday, May 9, in order to raise funds for the school. There will be plenty of activities throughout the day.

Additionally, the school is hoping to have one or two bands play live music on a stage outside for all the families and other community members in attendance.

A school event organizer was contemplating to where the school could reach out in order to find musicians, and Jubilee Church came to mind since it has a big focus on music.

Jubilee Church is currently meeting with worship team and local musicians to prepare to play at the festival. The event will take place 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. on May 9, 2015.
