Gisang Yoo from South Korea, who recorded the song 'Father,' shared about the recording process, "When I was in Korea, I got to know the song 'Redeemed.' I really liked this song and I wanted to sing this song. I'm glad I was able to learn this song as well as the song 'Father,' which was more challenging since the song has a very high key."
Yoo continued, "Thank God that I was able to work on this song daily and be able to sing this song here in the United States. Here, I learnt the difference in recording between South Korea and the U.S. In Korea, those who sing give a lot of effort, but here I got to know that the audio engineers do a great job to produce great songs. I'm thankful to the audio engineer Aaron, who will edit my recording. Also, I'm glad to be able to work on this song with Leo, a member from Jubilee Argentina, and this is our fruit together from this training."
Leo Lorenzo was the pianist who accompanied Yoo, and he also shared his reflection, "Though there was some difficult process to the recording, but it ended well and I thank God for this. This was my second recording. Though the live music is good, the recording helps us to analyze the songs more professionally. I would like to continue to record more songs in the future."
Reflecting on his future, Yoo added, "I would like to continue to compose and sing songs with Jubilee Korea in Seoul. God has prepared me from my college years where I could learn audio engineering, and even here in Nashville I learned more advanced knowledge which I can use to serve and help out better in order to build up the Jubilee Korea studio. Though I don't know what is coming to my life yet, but I strongly feel God is leading me and my life."
The next recording is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, which will be performed by Carolina Chaparro, a member of Jubilee Colombia.
