Aiming to gather 70 concertgoers for its upcoming Christmas concert, Jubilee Japan together with a local church held a street concert on November 28 at Kitasenju Station and Ueno Park.

In cooperation with Tokyo Ainohikari Church, Jubilee Japan performed Christmas carols arranged into pop style by Japanese Jubilee member Hiroki Tanaka. Along with guitar accompaniment, three singers sang five songs that included "Silent Night" and a rock version of "The First Noel."

While the musicians performed, members from the church handed out flyers for the Christmas concert, giving out a total of over 200 flyers.

It was a first attempt for some of the members but everyone who served said it was joyful. Pastor Daichi Ogata of Tokyo Ainohikari church testified, "I was happy to reach 200 people right before advent."

Tanaka, who is also the national representative of Jubilee Japan, expressed: "We won't stop with just one street concert. Beginning from this event, I hope we can spread the true Gospel in Japan."

For the upcoming Christmas concert, Jubilee Japan has welcomed an all female worship group as guest singers.

Jubilee Japan asks for prayers that the ministry may be used as a vessel for the precious plan of God.
