Four groups performed at the concert. Choir of Tokyo Ainohikari church sang popular gospel music arranged by Hiroki Tanaka, a representative of Jubilee Japan. Three of the church members performed instrumental ensemble composed of a piano, a guitar and a recorder. Hiroki himself sang and played a piano, performing his original and arranged songs.
"I give thanks to the Lord that He filled this concert with His grace," said Hiroki.
A guest chorus group, Euquaristias also performed in the concert. The four female singers saw the online board where Hiroki recruited volunteer performers for the concert, and contacted him.
"They are Christian and prayed for the concert. At the concert, they sang with gracious voices, filled the listeners with gratitude towards the Lord," said Hiroki.
On top of online posting to advertise the concert, Jubilee Japan also prepared 10,000 flyers. Together with the Tokyo church members, Jubilee Japan handed out those flyers and put them into mail boxes. Some of attendees came to the concert through those flyers.
"Through the concert itself and the preparation period, I learned a lot. I would like to apply this experience to the next event that we host," Hiroki reflected.
Let us pray that Japan to be filled with the gospel.
