A total of 24 Jubilee NYC members (16 choral musicians, 5 string musicians and 3 staff) are preparing for a graceful Christmas concert.
The rehearsal atmosphere was joyful and exciting. Their hearts were united as they gathered together for praising God.
The first stage, Jubilee String Orchestra will play P. Tchaikovsky's (1840-1893) "Nutcracker Suite": Overture Miniature," "March," "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy," "Trepak," "Arabian Dance," and "Waltz of the Flowers."
The second stage will be by Jubilee Chorus. They will sing "Carol Of The Bells," "Amen," "Go Tell It on The Mountain," "The Christmas Song," and "Joyful, Joyful."
The last stage will be a collaborative performance. Together, Jubilee Chorus and Orchestra will perform "Be Still My Soul," "It is Well with My Soul," "Who Would Imagine a King," "Why We Sing," and "Joy To the World." The String Orchestra parts are arranged by Jubilee Chorus composers, Bill Heigen and Grace Sun.
The Chrismtas concert will be held on Dec.19 at 7 p.m. at German Evangelical Lutheran St. Paul's Church (315 West 22nd Street).
Jubilee World appoints new choir director, Dr. Philip Woodmore. Philip received his BS/BA in Business Marketing and Music Vocal Performance from Saint Louis University in 2005 and Masters in Music Education from Webster University in 2010.

Jubilee World will host the 21st Anniversary of Jubilee and celebrate the overflowing grace that God has poured down during the past 21 years. The conference theme is "Worship Together with One Voice" and it will be held from July 9th to July 11th, 2023.
